Security Guards

What are the rates for security guards?

We offer a variety of security guard services, from uniformed to plain clothes and from unarmed to armed, servicing all different kinds of clients, therefore, our rates are custom tailored to suit our clients’ needs and budgets.

How soon can service personnel start?
Service can begin as soon as we understand our client wants and needs, get contract signed, and properly prepare our service personnel.

Are all security guards licensed?
All of Rapid Security personnel are properly licensed and insured. In addition, every security officer is carefully selected and screened. A thorough investigation is conducted into each candidate’s background. A profile is then composed to determine applicants potential in performing sensitive security exercises.

Rapid goes beyond state required fingerprint checks, which is only one factor in an effective selection process.

Are all security guards trained?
All our security officers assigned to your location will be trained until they are able to assume their prescribed duties without direct supervision. A broad range of in-house resources enable Rapid to develop one of the most comprehensive training programs in the industry and provides depth in the continued improvement of the program. Rapid provides and requires successful completion and participation in a rigorous training program prior to assignment. This training is a minimum of sixteen hours. All security officers then receive a site-specific training which focuses on familiarizing them with standard operational procedures, and emergency response procedures at our client’s facilities. This phase is administered by a Rapid supervisor and never by any other security officer. At Rapid Security, we consider training foremost. Our management team is comprised of well educated individuals with a wide range of expertise. Their combined backgrounds span all aspects of security and loss prevention with experience including Certified Protection Professionals (CCP) , former and active law enforcement and legal counsel.

How are the guards supervised?
Supervision is one of the most significant components of a successful contract security operation. Our chain of command was carefully developed and our intense emphasis on supervision is a key factor in qualifying us as a forerunner in the contract security services industry. Our law enforcement officers constantly monitor and evaluate our security personnel on a regular basis and maintain close contact with client management to continuously asses and refine the program. They make frequent unannounced quality inspections of our personnel assigned to our client locations. Our ratio of supervisors to security officers is 1 to 10.35 company-wide, one of the best in the industry. Regardless of your service requirements, our management and supervisory teams are available twenty-four hours a day. Our supervisors motivate their personnel with the objective to obtain positive results, which we feel is directly related to our most important goal-client satisfaction.

Are you insured?
We are fully insured, bonded and have $5 million in General Liability insurance with a national carrier.
